Synopsis:
Ted Grant hired ex-boxer Pudgy Perkins to be Stretch's assistant. Gamblers approach Pudgy and attempt to bribe him into fixing the fight. He refuses.

Later an disagreement with Stretch causes Pudgy to be fired. He returns to the gamblers and offers to help. During Ted's next fight, Pudgy prepares to drug his water. However, Pudgy can't go through with it.

The gamblers come after Pudgy, so Ted finishes his match quickly, then becomes Wildcat. After Wildcat takes down the crooks, Pudgy is rewarded for his honesty and given his job back.
