Synopsis:
Army pilot Roy Ross returns to Army Intelligence Headquarters with a story about a magic ring that grants wishes. Steve Trevor and Etta Candy are skeptical, but they both try the ring. Steve wishes to become a general, while Etta wishes for a candy palace.
A short time later, Steve saves a group of generals from a fire with the anonymous help of Wonder Woman. The generals promote him to brigadier general and assign him to Zani Island. Meanwhile, a representative of Zani Island visits Holliday College and meets Etta Candy. He offers her a palace of candy if she will teach his people English.
Etta goes to Zani Island and receives her palace of candy. A rebel leader uses Etta arrival to spark a revolution. Steve tries to stop the revolution, but he fails. Etta, Steve, and the prince are captured and nearly thrown in a volcano. Wonder Woman rescues them. Steve is demoted for his failure to prevent the uprising. Though he got his wish, it brought more trouble than it was worth, so he throws it away.
