Synopsis:
Through a series of strange coincidences, the residents of Smallville begin to believe that timid Phineas Fenton is Superboy's father. Fenton himself becomes convinced that his son Dick is the Boy of Steel. Fenton does not confirm or deny the rumors and begins to get special treatment from those around him.

Superboy and Dick meet to convince Phineas that they are not the same person. However, Phineas is not convinced. Crooks learn the truth and plan to take advantage of Fenton by robbing a bank. With Phineas and Dick inside the bank, the guards are lulled into a false sense of security. When the crooks arrive, Phineas realizes the truth about his son. The real Superboy helps Phineas stop the crooks, and Fenton's days as Superboy's father come to an end.
