Comments:
This story is told primarily in flashback to a time during the age of Camelot before Sir Justin was frozen in ice.
Although the story title would indicate that the age of Camelot took place ten centuries ago. However, previous stories have shown that Sir Justin was frozen in ice in the year 532, so the flashback in this story takes place more than ten centuries earlier.
Synopsis:
A document is uncovered which claims that the Shining Knight was a coward when he served King Arthur. Sir Butch reads a newspaper article about the document and tells Justin.
Justin tells Butch the story of Thorwald, a Danish warlord who kidnapped the princess Elreda. Sir Megrim pursued Thorwald. Justin followed, knowing Megrim was weak.
When Megrim was defeated Justin rescued him and sent him back to Camelot with the princess. The Knight was captured, so Megrim claimed Justin was cowardly and took credit for the rescue of the princess. Megrim's account was recorded by a scribe. The scribe's record is the document that was found.
Justin however broke free and defeated Thorwald. He returned to Camelot with the warlord as a prisoner. King Arthur had the truthful account of events recorded and sealed in the castle.
In present day, the Shining Knight and Sir Butch locate the ruins of Arthur's castle. The Knight finds the second document and turns it over to the researchers. Justin's reputation is thus restored.
