Comments:
This story takes place during the age of Camelot. Justin and Butch have traveled back in time from the 20th century.
Synopsis:
When an assassin's axe narrowly misses killing the king, Sir Justin pursues the killer. He finds Sir Evanthol, who is arrested for the crime. The knight proclaims innocence. He is placed in the dungeon until Merlin can verify his story.
Later, a tournament is held. One competitor garbed in black armor defeats the other knights. When the Shining Knight faces the Black Knight he spots a telltale sign on his opponent's throat. Sir Justin then throws the match, allowing the Black Knight to win. As victor in the tournament, the knight requests the release of Evanthol which the king refuses to grant.
Later, in the dungeons Sir Mordaunt attacks the guard and enters the cells. He plans to kill Evanthol. Sir Justin and King Arthur arrive in time to stop the killing. Justin uses fingerprints to prove that Mordaunt was the real assassin. The Black Knight is also revealed as Lady Elethea, Evanthol's paramour. Justin saw her throat during the joust. He knew she was a woman because she lacked an adam's apple.
