Synopsis:
Botanist Phineas Burton receives a strange plant from Asia. The plant known as a Maldita Toxicohedron is intelligent and can communicate telepathically with Burton. The plant forces Burton to steal in order to supply the plant with food. Using dangerous plants provided by the Maldita, Burton robs a bank.

Flash stops the plant, but he is unable to find Burton. The Three Dimwits recognize Burton and visit his greenhouse, where the plant is organizing a criminal gang. Flash stops the crooks, then finds the plant. After the Maldita is destroyed, Burton apologizes for his actions. The Flash understands that he was made to steal under duress.
