Synopsis:
While vacationing on the island of Tortuga, Congo Bill falls asleep on the beach. He is awakened by pirates who take him aboard their ship. Bill joins the pirates, but when they attack a Spanish ship and kidnap Maria Lopez, he rebels. Bill is thrown overboard, but he breaks his bonds and climbs back aboard. He defeats the captain in combat, then rescues the girl. She gives him a locket and tells him the year is 1646. Bill then awakens on the island thinking the pirate adventure was only a dream. However, he is now wearing Maria's locket.
