Synopsis:
Fearing his nightly transformations into the Hulk will put people in danger, Bruce Banner, assisted by Rick Jones, constructs a facility located in some caverns outside of town which can contain the Hulk. He orders Rick to lock him inside every night.
Before the first test of the holding room, Bruce and Rick are abducted by aliens calling themselves the Toad Men. Their technology has shown that Bruce is a genius. They want to know about the science of Earth in preparation for an invasion. After Rick is discarded and returned to Earth, Bruce transforms into the Hulk and brings down the alien ship from the inside. After the ship crashes, General Ross finds Bruce inside, but the aliens have fled. Bruce is deemed a traitor and locked up by the military.
While Bruce is in jail, the alien fleet arrives and demands that the Earth surrender. That night Bruce turns into the Hulk once more and escapes. He seeks out Betty Ross and finds her. Rick Jones is able to find him and calm him down until morning arrives. The Hulk reverts to Banner who has an idea to thwart the alien invaders.
Bruce heads for his lab where he has constructed a giant gamma ray gun. Rick holds off the military who want to arrest Banner, while Bruce turns the gun on the invading fleet. The gamma rays successfully drive off the invaders. Bruce is cleared by the military, but General Ross remains suspicious. With the threat neutralized, Rick and Bruce test out the cavern facility which serves to contain the Hulk.
