Comments:
This story takes place in 1988.

Synopsis:
Tommy Tomorrow and the Planeteers are dispatched to destroy a comet on a collision course with the sun. If they fail to destroy it, the comet will cause the solar system to be destroyed. Tommy and his men fire atomic missiles at the comet, but they fail to destroy it. Finally, one of the men, Larry Winters, sacrifices himself by ramming the comet with his ship. The comet is deflected, missing the sun and saving the world.
