Synopsis:
Student Johnny Double is puzzled by a mystery, when stories he has submitted for publication are paid for, but not published. The reason is that when Johnny falls asleep, he becomes a different person. This alternate personality is evil and a criminal. Johnny's stories reveal his evil plans, so his criminal self has been destroying them.

Not knowing that his good and evil sides are the same person, Johnny's evil side desides to kill his good side. This brings him into conflict with Green Lantern. GL deduces Johnny's problem then stops the criminal Johnny and his gang. To resolve the conflict, Johnny is turned over to prison authorities where he is locked up at night and released during the day.
