Synopsis:
After hearing stories told by his grandfather, young Jerry takes a model ship to the docks and daydreams of an adventurous life at sea. In his dream, he encounters pirates. Jerry calls for help from the Sandman, who comes to his rescue.

Wes Dodds and Sandy happen to be passing by, and they hear Jerry talk in his sleep about the Sandman. When the boy wakes, he finds that his model ship was swept out to sea. Wes and Sandy change into their costumes and help the boy to recover it in a row boat.

When in the boat, Sandman is spotted by smugglers who think they are being pursued. The smugglers sink the row boat, but the Sandman and Sandy pursue them. Eventually the heroes apprehend the smugglers. Jerry returns home with the tale to tell his grandfather.
