Synopsis:
The Batman breaks up a robbery at a blood bank by members of Big Moe McAllister's mob. He believes that the Crime Doctor was behind the theft. Batman determines that McAllister has a heart condition and is likely using the Crime Doctor to perform a transplant. Batman deduces that ex-con Schuyler Reems is a match for McAllister. When he visits Reems's home he finds only his worried wife and daughter.
Batman tracks down the Crime Doctor's secret hospital where the operation is to be performed. Rather than waiting for police backup, Batman and Robin enter the building and battle the crooks. Schuyler helps Batman by knocking out the doctor and smashing his hands with a fire extinguisher. When the police arrive, Batman vouches for Reems and offers him a job at the Wayne Foundation.
