This story is continued from Batman #433 and continues in Batman #435.
Synopsis:
While Batman is in Paris, Commissioner Gordon fishes a corpse in a Batman costume from Gotham Harbor. The victim is Mark Jenner, a former race champion. He is the fourth murder victim to be found in a Batman costume in the last day. A fifth victim, Peter Allison turns up a short time later.
Allison's murder by crossbow, leads Gordon to Raphael Di Giorda, a champion marksman. Di Giorda is always wearing a Batman costume and dies. He was planning to attend an event at the home of Bruce Wayne. Gordon finds Wayne at home, after he returned from Paris. Another killer costume is waiting, but Bruce avoids the trap. Across town, another victim is not so lucky.
