Comments:
This story takes place in Wonder Girl's dream.
Synopsis:
Wonder Girl dreams that she takes the place of Wonder Woman. She and a young Steve Trevor are attacked by a meteor which conceals an alien ship inside. The ship crashes and an alien emerges.
The alien Glop is capable of absorbing any object it comes into contact with. Then it can duplicate the object. It replicates Steve's jet plane and missiles, becoming a menace. Wonder Girl battles the Glop, but must first rescue Steve.
While Wonder Girl takes Steve to the doctors, the Glop absorbs some records and learns to talk. The military attacks it, but their weapons only make it stronger. The creature soon gains atomic capabilities. Wonder Girl consults the Amazons, who help her become a living time machine. She then takes the Glop back to a time before humanity existed. Wonder Girl then returns to the present before the Glop can detonate the atomic warhead.
Wonder Girl then wakes from her dream.
