Synopsis:
The Unknown Solider and Barry are sent to Siberia. Jack's mission is to kill a top KGB agent while being hunted by the Soviet military. The mission is actually a game between Wintley Roth and his Soviet counterpart Igor Provansk. Every ten years they pit their top agents against one another. Four times, the Unknown Soldier has killed his opponent.
Jack and Barry elude the military and locate the fifth man, Captain Bogdanov. Instead of killing his opposition, Jack captures him, assumes his identity, and escapes the country in a stolen helicopter. The Unknown Soldier and Bogdanov confront their bosses, calling for an end to their game. However, Bogdanov tries to double cross Jack. The Unknown Soldier is too quick and shoots the Soviet agent. By doing so, Roth wins the bet.
