This story is continued from Weird War Tales #32.
Synopsis:
Jonah Hex has been taken prisoner by Joe Bigfoot and his band of renegade indians. Hex goads Bigfoot into a duel in which both men fight with tomahawks. Jonah uses his to kill a snake about to strike Bigfoot. In gratitude, Jonah is released along with Debbie Haynes, the indians' other hostage.
Jonah returns Debbie to her father, whom the indians have accused of poisoning their water. Mr. Haynes denies the charge, but sends his men to kill Jonah. When Hex tracks down Bigfoot again, the men try to kill them both. Jonah and the indian team-up to stop the men, who confess to poisoning the water. Jonah takes the surviving men to the sheriff, and he lets Bigfoot escape.
