Synopsis:
After helping the heroes of Earth fight the alien alliance, Animal Man finds himself in Miami where a Khund fighter has done a considerable amount of damage. The streets are full of red robots which, while easy to defeat, are filled with explosives. Animal Man traces the robots to the Red Mask, a washed-up super-villain from the 1940s.
The villain threatens to kill himself by jumping off a building. Animal Man listens to the man's story and talks him out of jumping. He then returns to the streets to finish off the robots. Moments after Animal Man departs, the Red Mask jumps and falls to his death.
Once the robots are defeated, a strange flash of black light fills the sky.
