Synopsis:
While fighting in the skies with the British, Enemy Ace recalls how his father taught him to fight and to value honor. His memories are only a momentary distraction because he soon spots the French ace, the Hangman. Von Hammer's plane is damaged by his opponent. He is forced to make a crash landing. Another German pilot tries to distract the Hangman and is killed for his efforts. The Hangman then drops a note challenging Von Hammer to a duel in five days.
Enemy Ace returns home. While waiting for his plane to be prepared he goes hunting with his wolf. He then goes skiing in the alps where he meets a young farm girl. She thanks him for fighting for his country.
When the day of the duel arrives, Enemy Ace takes to the sky to meet the challenge. This time Von Hammer is victorious. However, the Hangman feigns death and is able to make a crash landing in a river. With the score now even, Enemy Ace flies away in search of new targets.
