Synopsis:
Karen Starr returns to the office for a business meeting where she learns that her business partner is trying to get her to sell the company to competitor Sayles Wilde. Karen refuses to sell and leaves the office. On the way home she stops a reckless motorcyclist who appears to be in a trance.
While turning the man over to police, Power Girl is attacked by a costumed villain calling himself the Force. The battle rages across Brooklyn and results in an injury to a photographer. Power Girl blames herself for his injury, but she is able to subdue Force using electrical current. She turns the villain over to authorities at Belle Reve for containment.
When Power Girl gets home, she learns that her neighbors had their apartment vandalized by burglars. Another of her neighbors, Garth McGarth, was mugged and beaten. Unknown to Karen, she is being observed from another dimension by the Weaver, a foe of her grandfather Arion.
