Synopsis:
The Outsiders confront Dr. Jace who reveals herself as a Manhunter. When the team refuses to surrender, she orders Metamorpho to attack them. Rex finds that Jace brainwashed him and turns against his teammates. When the Outsiders are defeated, Jace straps them to a machine that locks them into Gardner Grayle's dream reality.
The Outsiders find themselves in the post-apocalyptic world of the Atomic Knights. They team up with the Atomic Knights to defeat a dictator named Kadey who is in control of advanced robots. The robots are actually autonomous and turn against both Kadey and the Knights. The Outsiders and the Atomic Knights defeat them. Looker is then able to break the team out of the dream world.
Another battle begins between Jace and the Outsiders. Looker uses her powers to make Metamorpho think that Jace is actually her. Jace then fires a weapon that destroys Metamorpho. Jace is also killed in the resulting explosion.
