Synopsis:
Mark Shaw visits the home of Olivia Vancroft, the mask collector who hired Dumas. Mark offers to give her his mask in exchange for calling off the killer. She explains that Dumas will never back down after taking the contract. To satisfy her whim, Mark puts on his mask. With the mask's advanced sensors he makes a startling discovery, Olivia Vancroft is Dumas.
Mark leaves and mails a letter containing the details of his discovery to Eliot Shaw, his stepfather. He then returns in costume. Vancroft admits that she and Dumas are one and the same, but each has their own life. She then dons the Dumas costume and fights Mark to the death. Manhunter uses Olivia's mask collection to get the upper hand and finally succeeds in killing Dumas. He leaves his mask behind.
