Comments:
This story is continued from Outsiders Special #1.
A footnote at the conclusion of this story indicates that this story takes place between Infinity Inc. #42 and Infinity Inc. #43 and for the Outsiders between Outsiders #21 and Outsiders #22. However, neither of these assertions can be correct.
In Infinity Inc. #42, Skyman comments that Mr. Bones helped out the team during this adventure, so this story must occur prior to that story.
Also in part 1 of this story in Outsiders Special #1, Major Victory mentions a recent meeting with the Outsiders which occurred in Outsiders #23. Therefore, this story must occur after that issue.
Synopsis:
Skyman discovers that King Gregor and Queen Ilona of Markovia are being held in the dungeons with him. He is brought to Prime Minister Vittings who wants him to make a propaganda film in favor of Markovia's new regime. He then learns that Psycho Pirate has been masquerading as Baron Bedlam and has captured members of Infinity Inc. and the Outsiders.
In America, the Force of July question other captured heroes from the two super-teams. Abraham Lincoln Carlyle is in command, but he is called away when Vittings' phones him concerned about the Psycho Pirate. Carlyle and the Force then leave for Markovia. Mr. Bones goes with them, apparently turning against Infinity Inc.
The captured Infinitors manage to escape with the help of Mr. Bones's cigarette. They pursue the Force of July to Markovia, where Psycho Pirate has incited a crowd of peasants to stone his group of captured heroes. Geo-Force helps them get free, but Psycho Pirate forces them to attack the other group of heroes who have arrived from America.
While the battle rages outside, Psycho Pirate returns to the castle and forces Skyman to fight King Gregor. However, Looker has managed to free Brainwave of Psycho Pirate's influence. Together they are able to defeat the villain and free everyone else from his control. Psycho Pirate is then sent to Arkham Asylum.
