History:
For centuries, the House of Amethyst ruled the other-dimensional Gemworld, with the Lord and Lady Amethyst beloved by those of all eleven other houses – save one. The House of Opal's Dark Lord ultimately overthrew the House of Amethyst, slaying the ruling couple in the process.

To protect the infant daughter of the slain lord and lady, their faithful servant Citrina opened a rift in time and space and fled with the child to Earth, where she arranged for the little girl to be adopted by the Winston family.

Since time flows differently between the two dimensions, twenty years passed in the Gemworld, while only thirteen years passed on Earth.

On the eve of her thirteenth birthday, Amy was abducted back to the Gemworld, where she found herself a young woman, and learned of her legacy.

Taking her rightful place as heir to the House of Amethyst, Amy found herself possessed of great mystic power. Using this power, she spearheaded a revolt against the despotic Dark Opal, ultimately bringing about his apparent death. She now divides her time between Earth and the Gemworld.

Powers:
Amethyst wields tremendous magical power, usually channeled through her hands. She can create mystic shields and generate powerful bolts of energy. She is still mastering her spells and abilities, learning how far she can fly, how many people she can carry with her inf flight, and what sort of inter-dimensional portals she can create.
