History:
Ten years before his own death an unnamed French scientist experimented upon the mind of a superior ape and, through secret teaching methods and shock treatments, gave it a genius I.Q. of 178. The scientist named this ape Monsieur Mallah.

When the scientist himself finally died, the intelligent ape removed his brain and transferred it to a sophisticated receptacle which was connected to a vast computer network. Now virtually immortal, the Brain organized the Brotherhood of Evil to advance his goals of world conquest.

When the first Brotherhood of Evil disbanded after slaying the legendary Doom Patrol, the Brain assembled a second Brotherhood, which met defeat at the hands of the New Teen Ttians.

Powers:
Although possessed of no actual physical powers, the Brian is an immense intellect, capable of designing sophisticated schemes and equally sophisticated weaponry.

On occasion, the Brain has employed the body of a giant robot called Rog to grant himself some measure of mobility.
