History:
An adventuresome young woman bored with the commonplace, Selina Kyle decided to turn to a life of crime to fulfill her need to be daring and different. Having grown up in her father's pet shop, and possessed of a lifelong affection for cats, Selina adopted the colorful guise of the Catwoman to protect her true identity.

Her greatest adversary, and yet the object of her affection, was the Batman, who never admitted his own affection for her. Ironically, after Selina gave up her life of crime to become a professional adventurer, she became romantically involved for a time with wealthy playboy/philanthropist Bruce Wayne, the Batman's alter ego.

Today, the Catwoman prowls the world in search of adventure. She has accepted high-paying assignments as everything from a bodyguard to a private investigator. She has even, on occasion, joined forces with her erstwhile foe, the Batman, who worries that Selina's sometimes precarious mental state may someday send her back over to the wrong side of the law.

Powers:
While the Catwoman possesses no true super-powers, she is an Olympic-level athelet and a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant. Her arsenal of cat-inspired weaponry is constantly being changed and updated, and his included a high-powered Kitty-car and a specially-designed Cat-jet, but her single greatest weapon is her Cat-o'-nine-tails, a multitipped bullwhip she wields with expert efficiency.
