History:
Rick Raleigh, assistant to District Attorney Tom Darrow of Superior City was secretly the costumed crimefighter called the Red Bee. In 1940 in his first recorded case, the Red Bee brought about the conviction of "Boss" Storm, head of a corrupt political machine.

As a member of the Freedom Fighters, the Red Bee traveled to the parallel world of Earth-X, where he was killed.

Powers:
The Red Bee unleashed "trained" bees from his belt to attack his opponents. It is not known how he managed to control the bees so well.

The Red Bee was a superb athlete and hand-to-hand combatant.
