History:
The Fantastic Four, Inc. is one of America's most renowned teams of super-powered adventurers. Led by Dr. Reed Richards, one of the world's greatest living scientific geniuses, the group consists of Richards' wife, her younger brother, and Richards' college roommate, a former pilot. All four gained individual powers from cosmic bombardment incurred during a test flight of one of Richard's rocket projects. Over the years, the team has remained essentially the same, although temporary vacancies in the ranks were filled at one time by Crystal, Medusa, and Power Man. The activities of the Fantastic Four are supported by profits from Reed Richards' patents and research publications.
