Synopsis:
Starman stops a robbery at the home of Hubert Marsden, a millionaire. Some of the crooks escape, but they leave empty-handed because they could not open Marsden's burglar-proof safe.

As Ted Knight, Starman then meets with Marsden and astronomer Dr. Faraday. The astronomer seeks funding from Marsden for more experiments. The millionaire believes that astronomy is not practical, so he refuses to give Faraday a grant.

Seeking to prove his point, Faraday returns the following evening and uses science to open Marsden's safe. He intends to give the money back, but the crooks return as well and take the money. Starman arrives on the scene again and apprehends the crooks. Faraday explains his intent, and Marsden forgives him. The millionaire then offers to pay for Faraday's research.
