Ghosts in the Machine Part IV
This story is continued from Spectre #26 and continues in Spectre #28.
Synopsis:
Richard Redditch uses the Monster super computer to unleash an attack on everyone using a computer. Nearly a million people fall victim to the attack which leaves them in near-death comas. Using the souls of those people affected, Richard creates a virtual world inside the computer.
Meanwhile, Jim Corrigan gathers his team of investigators at the Spectre's behest to track down people affected by Redditch's previous attacks. The Spectre himself enters the computer world where Redditch directs the souls at his command to attack. Jim Corrigan is able to alert Pete Quarral of Redditch's location. The detective and his companion Praxis surprise Redditch who explodes in a surge of electricity.
