The Janus Directive Part 4

This story is continued from Checkmate #16 and continues in Checkmate #17.

Synopsis:
While Peacemaker and Major Force battle outside of Checkmate headquarters, Amanda Waller sends the Suicide Squad to join the battle. They have orders to kill Dr. Megala who is in Checkmate custody, but Vixen chooses to ignore those orders. Harry Stein authorizes security to move Megala. When the attacking forces converge on the prisoner, Megala explodes, injuring Count Vertigo and Major Force in the process.

Meanwhile, Black Thorn tracks down Wade Eiling, who has been trying to enlist the aid of Captain Atom. The Justice Leaguer refuses to get involved, but Nightshade and King Faraday try to change his mind.
