Synopsis:
An underwater archaeologist discovers the wings of Icarus on the floor of the Aegean, and publicity man Joe Tracy decides they should be used to publicize the museum by asking curator Carter Hall to attempt to fly with them. Carter uses them successfully, and during his flight he notes odd red indentations in nearby cliffs.

His investigation is interrupted by a truck robbery, during, which the bandits' bazooka damages his wings and anti-gravity controls, sending him high into the stratosphere. Luckily, he maneuvers into the orbit of his spaceship. After seeing red traces on his wings and realizing the bazooka was responsible for the cliff holes, he tracks down the bandits and captures them.

Thus confirming the authenticity of the wings, he suggests the new museum wing being publicized be named the Wing of Icarus after them.
