Synopsis:
Johnny witnesses two children knocking down trees. The trees are made of cardboard and hide a disguised airfield. Criminals land and take Johnny hostage. Black Canary tries to free Johnny, but she too is captured.

The crooks force Black Canary to rob a house. Johnny summons his Thunderbolt, but a lightning rod, knocks him out. The crooks tie Johnny, Canary, and the Thunderbolt to rockets set to explode. Thunderbolt recovers in time to rescue them and stop the crooks.
