Synopsis:
An eclipse once again splits Bruce Gordon and Eclipso into two separate beings. Eclipso escapes to a hidden laboratory where he uses solar energy to create a new being called Helio. Helio possesses solar powers and together they steal the government's new space platform. Bruce manages to rig a flash of light to be emitted from the platform. Eclipso is drawn back into Bruce's body, but Helio maintains possession of the platform.

Learning of the danger Helio represents, Prince Ra-Man tracks down and confronts the sun demon. Helio escapes and attacks Bruce. When Helio creates an artificial eclipse, Bruce becomes Eclipso and again teams with Helio. Ra-Man continues his pursuit of the villains, using his green sun jewel to erradicate Helio. He then rescues the space platform and returns with Bruce whose Eclipso persona has once again been repressed.
