Synopsis:
A crime syndicate hires an assassin to kill Eclipso, whose activities have interfered with their own criminal motives. The assassin is armed in a suit that nullifies Eclipso's power. When Eclipso tries to stop the killer with a blast from his black diamond, it backfires. The assassin then pursues Eclipso, who escapes by merging with Bruce Gordon.

Bruce learns the killer is armed with a bomb that will destroy himself and everyone nearby. He creates an artificial eclipse and uses the ultra-violet ray to turn himself into a good Eclipso. Bruce then defeats the assassin and captures the members of the syndicate.
