Synopsis:
The Atom uses the Time Pool to visit 18th century France. He overhears two men conspiring to murder Ben Franklin, so he intervenes. After stopping the killers, Atom learns that Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier, the inventors of the hot air balloon, will be sending a balloon carrying animals into the sky. In order to return through the Time Pool, the Atom hitches a ride on the balloon carrying a pair of Franklin's bifocals back with him.
