Synopsis:
Adam returns to Rann and unknowingly brings with him the last remaining Dust Devil from Rhynthar, Jakarta. Jakarta traveled to Earth in Adam’s holster when he left Rhynthar the last time. The dust devil has found a way to avoid being turned into glass as happened to the rest of his race. Seeking revenge, he begins to take over the planet.

Adam tries to develop a weapon capable of stopping the creature, but he is unable to find one. Just before the Zeta Beam returns them to Earth, where Jakarta plans to conquer as well, Adam finds a way to slow down the creature. Arriving on Earth, the Dust Devil tries to kill Adam, but the Earth-man survives.

Adam deduces that static electricity is harmful to the creature, so he tricks Jakarta into exposing himself to it. Adam then keeps the Dust Devil prisoner in a room constantly filled with static electricity.
