Synopsis:
When a series of mysterious accidents begin threatening the supply of whale oil to the colonies, the governor contacts Tomahawk for help. Upon his arrival, Tom stops an attack on Bobbins, captain of a whaling ship. He then joins the crew as they set out to sea.

Tomahawk thwarts several attempts at sabotage. However, the saboteur aboard the ship remains anonymous. Eventually Tomahawk and the crew catch a whale. Tom also proves that Bobbins is secretly the saboteur. He is not the real captain, but is instead an imposter working for a local candle maker to drive up the price of oil.
