Synopsis:
Green Lantern and Doiby visit the town of Baxton where a criminal claiming to be Medusa terrorizes the town. Medusa kills a banker apparently by turning him to stone, but GL deduces the body is just a statue. The clues point to the banker's heir Leslie Banks as the killer. She even confesses to the crime when authorities close in, but GL realizes that the real killer was Pop, the bell-ringer of Baxton. He killed the banker, so that Leslie would use her inheritance for the good of others. Pop commits suicide by hanging himself from the bell tower.
