Synopsis:
Young millionaire Bert Beem wants to be a detective like Robin. For Christmas, Bert's guardian Mr. Coombs arranges for Robin to stage an adventure with Bert. Actors are hired to play the role of crooks. However, the actors including Jervis, Bert's butler, break with the script and try to kill Bert and Robin. Robin escapes the trap and uses detective work to stop the crooks. Bert decides that he is better suited as a businessman than as a detective.
