Synopsis:
Jesse James, a modern gangster named after the legendary outlaw, begins a series of crimes based on those of the original Jesse James. The Vigilante studies the exploits of the original James and deduces the new James's next robbery. However, Stuff is captured, forcing Vig to back off and let the outlaws escape.

Stuff sends Vig a coded message that reveals the location of Jesse James's next strike. James is captured, while his gang escapes. The town wants to lynch the outlaw, but Vig saves him in order to find Stuff. Vig is then captured himself. He and Stuff are tied up in a burning barn, but he gets loose and escapes. Vig then apprehends James and his gang.
