Synopsis:
Batman and Robin are summoned to the Gotham Gem Company, where a murder has taken place. One of the partners of the company, Clayber, has been murdered, aparently by a vengeful criminal Ted Greaves. The other partners are threatened so Batman vows to protect them.

Batman saves Wilcox and Stubbs from danger, but notices that the cuplrit behind the threat cannot be who he claims. The Caped Crusader realizes that the murderer is actually all three of the partners. They killed Clayber to protect a smuggling scheme they were running. With the real killers exposed, they are sent to prison.
