Synopsis:
When gunman Trigger Daniels kills philanthropist Amos Gantry the Spectre helps to gather evidence and apprehend him. Trigger is sentenced to death but vows to return. He makes good on the promise when he returns as a disembodied spirit. The killer's ghost then attacks those responsible for his capture and execution. The Spectre tries to intervene, protecting the intended victims. He finally succeeds in banishing Trigger using the Ring of Life.
