This story is continued from Huntress #8 and continues in Huntress #10.
Synopsis:
The Huntress and the police separately work to find Alexander Wyvern. They both connect his latest attack to the Bertinelli diary and believe he will strike at Gina Manelli, Guido's former mistress. When Wyvern strikes the Huntress confronts him with Gina's life held in the balance.
Elsewhere, a group of drug dealers, who have hijacked a truck containing nuclear material, abduct James Cooper, a student who has devised a way to build bombs.
