Synopsis:
Mobsters attack television news reporter Jennifer Sharp blinding her with acid in the face. The Huntress comes to her rescue. She leaves the hitmen for detectives O'Shea and Fiorello.

Later, the Huntress meets O'Shea who has earned her trust. She gives him half of her father's coded journals to decipher. After O'Shea and the police cryptologists fail to crack the code, the detective's boss suggests using the skills of convicted serial killer Alexander Wyvern. After studying the journals, Wyvern claims they are full of useless family information. However, they really contain mob details which allow Wyvern to blackmail one of the prison guards.

Meanwhile, the Huntress entrusts the other half of the journal to Jennifer Sharp. However, when she pays Sharp a visit later, she finds her dead body.
