The Elemental War Act Two

This story is continued from Firestorm the Nuclear Man #90 and continues in Firestorm the Nuclear Man #92.

Synopsis:
Firestorm confronts the new water elemental Naiad. When they each find their powers unable to affect the other directly, Naiad creates a wave to strike at the fire elemental indirectly. As Firestorm is pulled underwater, another elemental has been drawn into the fray, the Red Tornado. He begins fighting Naiad.

Firestorm recovers and realizes that the oil from the damaged platform is spilling into the sea. He closes the drill hole, uses his transmutation powers on the oil, and puts out the fire. With the spill contained, Naiad calms down considerably.

The three elementals then converse. Naiad wants to destroy humanity for polluting the environment. Red Tornado is compelled to agree. Firestorm is the voice of dissent. He believes they should guide humanity. However, Naiad has rejected her own humanity, and the Red Tornado, as an android, never had any. They unite against Firestorm, burying him. They then head to Japan to destroy it.

Elsewhere Simon LaGrieve is gunned down after he connects Killer Frost's creation to a mysterious virus.
