Identity Crisis Part Two
This story is continued from Batman #455 and continues in Batman #457.
Synopsis:
As seemingly innocent people suddenly don masks and become killers around Gotham City, Batman checks on Vicki Vale who is thought to have discovered a clue. He follows her to the home of Rico Marcuse, where she is abducted by Marcuse and several men. Batman trails their car to an abandoned chemical factory where Vicki meets the head of the gang.
Meanwhile, Tim Drake seeks a connection behind the killing. He eventually deduces that fear is the key. When he can't reach Batman, Tim calls Commissioner Gordon, who puts up the Bat-Signal. Batman sees it as he is entering the factory. Inside he finds the Scarecrow.
