Synopsis:
A homeless girl accosts Dawn and her mother on the street. The girl is strangely attracted to a brooch worn by Maire Granger. After the incident, the ladies return home to host a party. While the party begins downstairs, the homeless girl breaks into the house. She is caught by Dawn and her father, but the girl is transformed by the brooch into a Central American goddess.
The goddess, Huitzilopochtli, tries to kill Mr. Granger. Dawn becomes Dove and a fight ensues. Police arrive and surround the building. Dove is injured in the fight while trying to protect bystanders. Hawk arrives and joins the fight. Just as he gets the upper hand the police turn against him. The break in the action gives Huitzilopochtli a chance to reverse the situation. She holds Hawk at knife-point.
