This story is continued from Detective Comics #618 and continues in Detective Comics #620.
Synopsis:
Gotham police receive a videotape which indicates that the Drakes have been kidnapped. Batman analyzes the tape and deduces that the Drakes are being held in Haiti. Batman tries to keep his investigation a secret from Tim, but the younger Drake learns the truth. When a ransom demand arrives, Batman leaves to check it out, leaving Tim in the custody of Alfred.
