This story continues in Captain Atom #27.

Synopsis:
In recognition of his work as Captain Atom during the Invasion, the President reinstates Cameron Scott into the Air Force under the command of General Hillary. His first assignment is to investigate the murder of vietnamese General Hu Trang. The murder is linked to a list of names which have a connection to the past of Nathaniel Adam.

Cameron Scott follows the killer from the Vietnamese embassy. When they meet face-to-face he recognizes the man as the warrior he fought in Cambodia. The meeting is interrupted by Mister Miracle who takes down the swordsman. Miracle reveals that he, Blue Beetle, and Booster Gold have been secretly following Captain Atom after learning that he has lied to them. Scott promises to fill them in if they let the swordsman go. He wants to follow the man in hopes of clearing his own name of treason.
