The Day of the Krypton Man Part IV
This story continues in Adventures of Superman #465.
Synopsis:
Draaga reaches Earth and lands in New York. Superman goes to face him and unexpectedly finds his costume transformed into a Kryptonian garmet. He then flies to New York and begins fighting Draaga near the Statue of Liberty.
Professor Hamilton sees the fight on television. Recognizing Superman's odd behavior, Hamilton tries to bring the combatants to Metropolis, so that he can help. He uses a transport beam to teleport them. However, his beam acquired too much mass and took half the Statue of Liberty with it. Additionally, the satellite across which the broadcast was beamed was repositioned, causing Superman, Draaga, and Lady Liberty to wind up on the moon.
